OUR HISTORY

With all of the donations collected from our day of fundraising in the summer, the Hurricane Jayne’s Ice Cream team goes to buy bicycles for kids for Christmas all together at Walmart, who has been supporting our tradition since 2015. These children are in financially struggling families, in which a Christmas present is not their top priority for the parents. Our job at Hurricane Jayne’s Ice Cream is to buy as many bikes as we can so some children can have an amazing gift for Christmas. In some cases, these bikes are the only present that they will be getting for Christmas because their parents cannot afford to buy their kids anything else. Over the past 7 years, we have raised over $27,000 which has been able to give 250 children an unforgettable present that they will remember getting for the rest of their lives.
